ASSASSINS IN EVIDENCE. Pres 3 Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. TOKIO, March 13. A .man, who has not been identified, carrying a- bomb, attempted to enter the Imperial Palace grounds, but. was halted by the guard. While endeavoring to throw the bomb at the guard the man blew himself to pieces. There is considerable fear caused by the attempts of political assassins, following yesterday's premature bomb explosion. Prince Saionji, who is ill in Tokio, has received .a series of letters stating that unless ho dies of sickness he will he assassinated when ho leaves his house, regardless of the number of guards. Viscount Kyoura, President of the Privy Council, has also been threatened.—A. and N.Z. Cable. GOVERNMENT ATTACKED. VOTE OF CONFIDENCE PASSED. TOKIO, March 18.
