ELECTION CHATTER
It is rumored that Mr J. H, Blackwell will contest the Kaiapoi seat in the Reform interest at. the General Election, and that Mr David Jones will remain as permanent chairman of the Meat Producers’ Board.—Christchurch correspondent.
Mr J. C. Thomson, of Riverton, former member for Wallace, has definitely decided to bo a candidate for tho scat at the forthcoming parliamentary election, The sitting member for the electorate is Mr Adam Hamilton.
Mr E. C. Banks, chairman of the Auckland Education , Board, will contest tho Waikato seat next December as a Reformer. There are now four candidates in the field.
