SANDERS CUP
ANOTHER YACHT LAUNCHED. [Spicial to tub ‘Star.’] CHRISTCHURCH, October 15. Tho second fourtcen-foot one-design sailing boat, built by Miller Tiros., Ltd., was launched yesterday. This boat will bo tried out against tho Linnet, which was launched on Saturday last, and tho better boat will go to Dunedin to compete for tho Sanders Memorial Cup. At tho launching ceremony Mr E, TL Henderson congratulated tho builders and owners. Ho said that tho sport was creating intense local interest, and it was hoped that when either the Tomtit (tho new boat) or tho Linnet went south it would give a good account of itself against tho redoubtable Otago champions. The trials between the two boats take place immediately.
