At a recent meeting oi cricket delegates it was resolved that the Management Committee of the Wellington Cricket Association be instructed to increase tho number of teams in tho senior competition from six to eight. Mr C. C. Wilson attended the subsequent meeting of_ tho committee, and explained that the action of the delegates was not intended in any way as a vote of uo-confidenco in tho Management Committee. The association resolved ; That this committee acknowledges the expression of opinion voiced at tho special meeting of delegates that the action _in movin'- a motion conveying a instruction to tho committee did not infer a want of confidence in tiro committee.
