[Pen United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, October 15. la tho Supremo Court to-day the folowing sentences were imposed:— Andrew Michael Curtin, 17 years of ago, and James Prichard Cameron, 19, for brea Icing and entering and theft at Hastings, wore admitted to probation for threo years, tho sum of .£7l odd to bo restored to tho firm from which it waa stolen. Alfred James Gardiner (20), for receiving stolon moneys from tho prisoner Curtin, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment. George Edwards (2'J, Cecil Henry Edwards (21), and George Walter Edwards (23), for theft of 21 cases of petrol at Eannovirko, wore admitted to threo years’ probation. Cecil Glen Ilossiter (27), for the theft of 36 cases of poultry, valued at £292, and forgery of orders for their delivery, was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment for thoffc and to ono 'mouth for forgery. Thomas Austin Griffiths (22), for breaking and entering amt attempted rape, received a sentence of sis months on tho first charge and two years on tho .second charge, and was declared an habitual criminal.
