Messrs Bray Bros (of Dunedin), Ltd., report as follows for tho week: Chaff has born, scarce during the part week, and any linen of good quality coming to hand are readily sold from £5 5s to £5 ICs, ox truck, Dunedin, (sacks extra). Tho oat market remains very firm, and there are few offerings from the country. Good Sparrowbills for fowl feed are practically unobtainable, and any coming forward of fair quality meet with keen inquiry from 3s 3d to 5a 6d a bushel. The potato market shows a. firming tendency. and good, clean Up-to-Dates are difficult to obtain. Good lines arc easily sold to-day at £5 a ton. Seed potatoes, Sutton’s Supreme and Up-to-Dates, are meeting with a fair inquiry from £4 10s to £5 10s a- ton. Tho market is well supplied with Melbourne onions, and the demand is slack. Sales have been made frequently at £7 10s per ton for good lines. A few Canterbury's have come to hand, hut the quality has been poor, and sales aro difficult to make at £4 a ton. Tho market has been fairly well supplied with all varieties of Australian fruit, and wo expect ex the Rivo.rina a fair shipment'of oranges and pines. A shipment of bananas is expected ex the Ka-itoa from Auckland within the next few days, and providing the quality is right these should sell at high figures. During the week supplies of dessert apples have fallen off considerably, and good colored Stumers are wanted. The value, to-day is about 14s a. case (cases extra). A small line of Rokcwoods sold at Ids 9d a case (cases extra). Fair quantities of pears have arrived of late, and,, values aro a little easier. 4Jd to 5d being the outside value for Coles and Winter Xelis. Rhubarb is arriving in fair quantities, but values are firm from 2-J;d to 3d a lb. Asparagus is in short supply, and pound bunches are realising 16s 6d a dozen wholesale. Fair quantities of cauliflowers continue to come forward, but prices are a little firmer. A small consignment of cabbabes arrived from the north,' and are realising 3s to 4s a dozen. Rettuco has been arriving freely, and values have dropped about Is a dozen. Dairy and separator pats arc wanted at Is fid a lb.
