The ordinary fortnightly meeting of Court Pride of the Leith was held on Wednesday evening at the Albany Street Hall, when a large attendance of members greeted the presiding officer, C.R. Pro. R. H. Rutherford. A considerable amount of routine business was transacted, the newly elected _ officers carrying out their duties in a very creditable manner. During the evening three new members wore admitted and two accepted by transfer, there being also six further nominations, P.C.R. Bro. J. Benfoll, who has been the president of the Juvenile Court Pride of the Valley for many years, resigned that offiico, -and P.C.R. Bro. Gaston was appointed in his stead. Various officers testified to the good work carried out by the late president amongst the younger members, and were pleased that the valuable services of Bro. Benfell will still bo available in tbo interests of the juveniles. Tbo court still continues to progress in every way, and the members hope to show a splendid record at the. end- of the year. 1
