Tlie Hope of Dunedin Lodge of Templars held its weekly meeting on Wednesday evening in the lodge room. Dowling .street. Bro. South. C.T., presiding. One candidate was initiated. An interesting letter was received from Bro. Our gaols” are almost empty, and the judges are almost classed as unemployed.’ The programme arranged was “sacred night and commemoration service” for the brave lads who fell in October, four years ago. A fine programme of sacred solos and recitations was rendered by Messrs Crawford, South (2), Powell, Stokes, Bros. Dalton and South. The address was given by Mrs Don. She was attentively listened to. and received a hearty vote of thanks, with Sister Gain, who was responsibly for the programme. The Celebration Festival Committee reported that everything pointed to having -a. .successful function. The programme arranged for nest meeting is sing, recite, or pay.
