■ ■» Returned, soldiers and friends are reminded of tho annual ball of the Dunedin R.S.A., which will take place in the Art Gallery Hall on Thursday night. Previous annual ba.Ua have been voted by all present as being among tho best of the reason, and the arrangements made 11 1 year promise to give an even more enjoyable affair. Tho musio will bo provided by Messrs Mitchell and Dagg’s orchestra of five players, with the jazz effects that have become go popular during the present season, and a comprehensive programme of the latest dances has been arranged. The catering is to bo in the hoards of sirs Winter and staff. At 2.10 a.m. special cars will leave for the no Mil and south ends of tho city, A limited number of tickets has been reserved for non-members of tho association, and those desirous of attending should make early application.
