Wednesday, September 14. (Before Mr H. Y. Widdowson, S.M.) RESULTS OF DRINK. James Allan Rowe, who said he was the father of nineteen children, and was sorry for what he had done, pleaded guilty to drunkenness and to using obscene language in Cumberland street,—Senior-sergeant Lewin said that tho language was used to a member of the fire brigade.—On the first charge Rowe was fined 10s, in default twenty-four hours, and on the second 40s or fourteen days. William Ingram (Mr Irwin), charged on remand with drunkenness, breach of prohibition order, and false pretences, to all of which ho had pleaded guilty, was, on the application of the chid detective, remanded for a further yteek,
