Sir, —-Now that the Australians cricket tour is ended, I think a word oi praise is duo your paper for the very valuable information that has been given the Dunedin public by. your contributor “Onlooker.” His articles have always been most interesting and instructive, and have been much appreciated by your readers. A word of thanks is also due to your subeditor. who, at some inconvenience to himself, has seen right through the tour that Dunedin sports had news of all important fixtures which could not arrive hero before a Sunday morning. I can assure you, sir, that your efforts on our behal have been greatly appreciated, and I trust that you will continue to give us as good information regarding future international • sporting events.
