BICYCLE BANDITS
$ ROBBERY BY A RUSE. LONDON, August 27. A. band of highwaymen, a ware of a company manager’s method of drawing the weekly wages for his men, held up hia motor car in East Midlothian, by a ruse, and stole £2,000. The robbers wore cycling when the motor car came in sight. One of the cyclists simulated a fainting_ fit, and the others pretended to go to his assistance. The occupants of the motor car sympathetically slowed down, and the manager and chauffeur were attacked. Tho thieves cycled off with the cash, but tho chan flour motored in pursuit, overtook them, and recovered, the money. Two arrests were made.
