Latest reports indicate that tho battle of Sakaria has resulted in a stalemate. Both armies are fought to a standstill n>'■ ’ are suffering from transport difficulties. It is considered possible that the Greeks may abandon the advance on Angora, and withdraw to the westward, as there is now no hope of enveloping any large portion of the Kemalist forces. Mustapha Kemal has sent Kurds, including members of the Angora Assembly, to tho borders of Mesopotamia to stir up the Nationalists there.—‘Times.’
