The Railwayman's Union has informed the Government that it will refuse to accept the revised hours of working, involving a withdrawal of tho eight-hour day, which was conferrxed by tho labor clause in'the Peace Treaty, and was ratified by Parliament.
Tho wor/; blizzard for many years is raging in the greater part of Natal and the Free State. Trains snowed up at Maritzbnrg were cut off from the north for fortyeight hours.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
