NORTH-EAST TALLEY CLUB. Tho annual meeting on Wednesday nigSt was presided over by Mr J. Munson. There was a good attendance. The Chairman, moving tho adoption of the annual report, saief the past season had been a very good one. Tho club had not done too well in competitions, but hoped to do better next season. Finances were good, but membership had gone back a lit tie, and was not as largo a.s might be expected. The; ladies had been an asset to the club, handing over some £25 to the funds.—Mr P. Gray seconded the motion, and after some comment on tho dub’s financial position and acknowledgment of the good work dona by the ladies, it was carried.

'The following officers were elected : President, Air IT. J. Duncan; vice-presi-dent:., Messrs Vv, S. Calbert and J. Swan,* lion, secretary, Mr A. Thomson: horn treasurer, Mr T. Allan committee—Messrs T. Sneeston, IE Aitchison, and M. Campbell ; auditor, Mr .P. Gray: selectors— Messrs T. Sneeston, It. Aitchison, and (i. Dryclon; delegates to cent re, Messrs G. .Dunn and J. C. Rigby. It was mentioned that there was a movement afoot to start a separate club in the district.
