Society matters; and! to be recommended to consider the organisation of bodies representing tho fanning industry. That tho Government bo asked to inspect oil engines once only. That single judging at shows bo adopted. That heavy penalties" bo imposed for using traps or other methods likely to destroy the natural enemies of rabbits.
That opossums be not protected. That the Government enforce the adoption of an ear-marking scheme. , That steps he taken to stamp out the cattle tick, and that legislation be passed prohibiting the transfer of cattle from infected districts to clean.
That representation bo made to tho Railway Department to allow sufficient fodder for exhibitors’ stock to bo carried on the railway free. That tho Government revert to the prewar rates of freight for stock travelling to agricultural shows, on account of the heavy financial loss sustained, by farmers.
