PROMOTIONS AND TRANSFERS. [Special to tire * Stak.’J CHRISTCHURCH. July 12. Air C. F. Nah’er. District Lands Registrar at Christchurch for tho past two year?, has been promoted to the position of District Lands Registrar at Wellington and Bee; trar-Geneni! of Lands, vice Mr W. Wyinks. Mr Naldcr commenced service with the Government _as cadet in Nelson, his homo town. After six _yoJTrs ho transferred to Dunedin as junior de l;, and in ISCO was promoted to Bleu lu-im as District Lands Registrar. Ho then went to Invercargill for six years as DM-ict Lands Registrar and Deputy Commissioner of Stamps, next served for nine roars in I) 'nedin as Registrar, and' was then transferred to Christchurch. Mr v aVcr will be succeeded by Air A. A . Rturtcvant. now at Dunedin, whoso vacancy will he lilted by the transfer of Mr F. Y 7. Broughton from Invercargill.
