Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, as under TUESDAY, JUNE 21. For United Kingdom and Europe (per north express), at 10.15 a.m. (to connect with Gallic at Lyttelton). Correspondence must be specially addressed “Per Gallic.” Late-fee letters at guard’s van at 11.15 a.m. For Australian States, Honolulu, South Africa, Egypt, Ccyl on, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, Mediterranean Ports (per north express), at 10.15 a.m. (to connect with the Mahcno at Auckland). Late-fee letters at guard’s van at 11.15 a.m. THURSDAY, JUNE 23. For Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji (per north express), at 10.15 a.m. (to connect with the Tofua at Auckland). Lato-feo letters at guard’s van at 11.15 a.m. For Niue (per north express), at 10.15 a.m. (to connect with the Ysabel at Auckland). Late-fee letters at guard’s van at 11.15 a.m. £ Owing to the withdrawal of the Wabine from the ferry service mails will now close for the North Island on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, at 7 a.m., and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, at 10.30 a.m. Mails from the North Island will arrive at Dunedin (per second express) on Wednesdays and Fridays.
