SWITZERLAND'S ACTION RE VILA A PLEBISCITE. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. PARTS, February 27. (Received February' 23, at 12.5 p.m.) At the Lcagno of Nations Council meet ir.g Dr Dunant (Swiss Minister in Paris) defended Switzerland’s action in regard to the passage of troops on the ground that Switzerland’s neutrality would be influenced. .M. Bourgeois (France) pointed out tho great moral effect this would have upon the League’s deliberations. Tho League had no intention of sending international contingents to Yilna without guaranteeing conditions of absolute security. 'JTic discussion was adjourned.— A. and N.Z. Cable.
