The Katoa, which is now discharging at the Birch street wharf, is to sail to-morrow for Lyttelton, 'Wellington, and Auckland.

The Kittawa left Wellington last night for Greymouth to load for Wellington. The Foherua left Wellington last night for Greymouth to load for Timarn and Lyttelton. , , , The Flora and Kororniko were delayed in working cargo at Tlmaru owing to rain. Both vessels will sail to-day for Lyttelton The Waitomo, which lias been delayed in the discharge of her coal cargo at Oarnnru owing to rain, is expected to sail on Saturday for Newcastle. The Kahika is being delayed in workin r' cargo at Lyttelton owing to a shortage of" i ail way trucks. She is expected to sail about Friday for Greymouth to load for Dunedin. The Tnrawcra arrived at Sydney at 2 a.m. on Tuesday from Wellington. She is expected to sail on Friday with general cargo for Bluff and Dunedin, The Union Company’s steamer Koranui is duo at Port Kembla to-morrow from S\dney to load coal for Wellington. ’There was a moderate swell on the bar at Grcvmouth to-day. The sea. was smooth on the'Westport bar. Tils! Breeze, has been further delayed at Lyttelton owing to the shortage of trucks, and is not expected to reach Dunedin until to-morrow. It is hoped to despatch her to-morrow night for Tnnaru, Lvtteltbn, and Wanganui. Tho Te Amur is due at Wellington tomorrow from Auckland, and will sail about Friday for Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is bringing transhipments ex tho steamer Ganges from Calcutta. Tho Kaiapoi is now loading general cam) at Melbourne for discharge at Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington, and New Plymouth. The Paloona sailed from Port Chalmers last evening for Wellington and Melbourne. The steamer Waikouaiti, at present discharging .Homo cargo at Lyttelton, is expected to reach Dunedin towards tho end ot this week. Sho has about 1,100 tons of general cargo for this port. 't he Wanaka, whoso overhaul is nearing completion, was docked at Port Chalmers yesterday afternoon. The Pakcha, now loading in the south, is listed to leave Wellington about February 19 for London via Panama. Tho Raranga will bo despatched, from Wellington about February 26 for London via Panama.

The Knmara is to leave Now Plymouth to-day for Wanganui roadstead to continno Homeward loading. She will complete her cargo at Wellington, and will sail from that port about February 23 for London via Panama. Tho U.S. and A. Line’s steamer Liberty was loading at New York at tho end of January for New Zealand porta. Her cargo will include a largo consignment of oil Tho ves'jQl should reach New Zealand about tho middle of March.

Tho Aberdeen steamer Euripides arrived at London on January 24 from Australian ports. Tho Lloyd-Sabando steamer Carignano sailed from Port Said on January 23, on route from Italian ports to’Australia. Tho White Star cargo steamer Cufic sailed from Liverpool on January 22 for Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane via Hie Capo. The Willaston, at present in Lyttelton, is a vessel of 5,653 tons gross. She was built in 1914 by W. Hobson and Co., Newcastle, for tho Wirral Transport Company. Ltd. Captain D. Jones is in command. Tho C. and H. liner Port Melbourne, now at Melbourne, will later proceed to. Sydney to complete discharge of her Now York cargo. She is to return to New Zealand to load for the United Kingdom at Lyttelton, Gisborne, Napier, and Wellington, and is due about March. 5. Sho is timed to sail for London from Wellington on March 25. THE FERRY SERVICE. The Maori arrived at Lyttelton at 7.39 n.m to-day from Wellington, and mails and passengers connected with the lirst express for the south. TEE BELLBUCKLE. Tho U.S. and A. Line’s chartered steamer Bellbucklo is due at Dunedin about tho end of this week from Lyttelton to discharge a quantity of general cargo and case oil from Now York. From Dunedin the Bellbucklo will proceed to Melbourne and Sydney to put out tho balance of hor freight.

ESSEX FROM NEW YORK. The Federal steamer Essex, which is now discharging New York cargo at Timaru, is expected to roach Dunedin on Saturday morning. She has about TOO lons of general merchandise for this port. From Dunedin the Essex will proceed to Melbourne to complete discharge REMUERA AT SOUTHAMPTON. A cablegram received by the Now Zealand Shipping Company states that the Remnera, which sailed from Wellington on December 21 for the United Kingdom via Panama, arrived at Southampton on February D. KAIKOUEA REPORTED Cable advice received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the Kaikoura sailed from Colon on February 4 for London, in continuation of her voyage from Wellington. The vessel left Wellington on January 8. SALE OF EX-ENEMY STEAMERS. Among the cx-cnomy steamers recently disposed of by Lord Inchcape, the Rio Pardo was acquired by the Ellorman Lines, Ltd., London, and renamed City of Alexandria; the Edmund Hugo Stinnes 4 by the English and Overseas Trading and Industrial Company, Ltd., London, and renamed Shciny ; the Lubeck by the Hain Steamship Company, Ltd., St. Ives, and renamed Treloven ; the Alda by the Pacific Steam Navigation Company, Ltd., Liverpool, and renamed Magellan; and the Fink bv Messrs Ellerman’s Wilson Line, Ltd., Hull, and renamed Cato.
