FATHER CHRISTMAS

BIG ATTRACTION AT THE D.I.C. A special feature in connection with the Christmas festivities this vear is the wonderful display to be seen at the D.I.C. v *ij- ve lather Christinas entered the Ouilding over a week ago, and since then he has been visitfed by thousands of happy, smiling children. Ihe dear old man is dressed in his bright robes daily, and he extends a joyous welcome to every child vho pays a visit to the enchanting fairyland where he reigns supreme, and where every child’s heart is Tilled with joy at the glotions scene which meets the eye from a *i directions. Although thousan'ds have spent joyous hours in this juvenile El Doiado, and have trotted around with wide-open eyos at the spectacle unfolded while holding the hands of their host and listening to bis kindly words, there are perhaps hundreds of little boys and girls who iiavc'imt yet had the same privilege. Children, to-morrow is the night of all nights m your voung and happy lives, and so to-morrow night there wilf be an extra special attraction at the fairvland where your dear friend Father Christmas will be sitting on his throne waiting to receive you and to show yon all the wonderfil things which, will make you dance with joy. Now, children, tell your fathers and mothers of this _ important event, and if you arc good children they will take you along to spend an hour or so in this land of enchantment at the D.I.C. You will not regret the visit, children, and you will have such a lot of' wonderful stories to toll your cousins and little friends who, perhaps, live too far away to enable them to visit such a gorgeous place of joy. But see that you do not miss the opportunity to-morrow night, children, as special preparations are being made to receive you in thousands.

. Uiero is another thing to be remembered, children. The magic fish pond is more magical than ever. It is a pleasure to hoar the screams of delight when a ■little boy brings out a real watch from the pond. Of course, all the presents are not quite so expensive as a "watch, but every present is worth while fishing for. It is not possible to say what will turn np, but each gets a suitable' present. It very one goes to the D.T.C. fairyland at Christmas, if only to ioin in the fun. -he scene is almost indescribable. There ■are gorgeous decorations, magnificent scenery, and myriads of electric lights. Just remember this, children : Over 10,000 have fished in the magic pond during the past week, and yet there are thousands upon .thousands of suitable presents left for the many smiling, happy little^ones who are sure to come along on Christmas Eve. Everyone will be in town to-morrow evening, and in order that one and all may join in the festivities the D.I.C. fairyland will remain onen until 10 o’clock. No matter how big the crowds may be, there will be plenty of assistants to attend to everybody, as the day before Chiistmas is always made children’s day at the p.T.C.
