DANCE RECITAL

»—■— Tho Otago School of Dancing will stage a demonstration in His Majesty's Theatre to-morrow evening, when a novel and attractive programme will be presented. Over 100 performers will take part in solos, duos, ballets, and song scenae, elaborately costumed. One of the outstanding items will be ' Pipes of Pan,' an artistic and charming songsscenta t in which 60 pupils will take part. Another striking item will be a Hawaiian song scena, in wliich the whole scene is charaoterisfcic in every detail. Misses Lily Stevens, Linda M'Donald, Frances Smith, and Bel Martin will appear in solo dances and several ballets. The assisting artists will be Miss Meda Paine, Messrs Mortley Peake and John Leech (vocalists),- and little Nancye Low will be heard in a character recital. The proceeds are being donated to the Dunedin Society.
