MUSICAL DUNEDIN
To those who have most frequently sung or listened to 'The Messiah' choruses there is always a continous freshness. It is really an inspiring work. Last night's rehearsal was heartily and intelligently entered into by a well-attended practice of the active members. The- confidence in this great oratorio and in the manner ni which it will be presented in His Majesty's Theatre on Monday and Tuesday, November 1 and 2, is shown by tie demand for tickets. These were available last night, when a number of the chorus took them for sale, the higher prices being most in demand. One lady had orders for 33. Miss Amy Evans and Mr Eraser Gauge are looking forward with pleasurable anticipation of being associated with the Dunedin Choral Society in these twoconcerts.
