POPULAR CONCERT.
The services of a number of leading local amateurs have been requisitioned* lor an entertainment to be given in the Grand Theatre to-morrow night the entire proceeds of which will b4 applied to the support of orphan children of any class or creed who may come under the care of the Presbyterian Social Service Association. It will be seen from the programme, winch appears in our advertising columns, that Miss Rene Aslin will bo heard in" some qi the recitations in which she scored at the recent Christchurch Competitions, and that others will help to provide a capital'evening'c amusement.
