tPzii United Press Association.] W'ELLIXGTOX, May 31. William Coombs was killed and John Tilly injured' through a collision witn a motor lorry in Jervois quay. Coombß received injuries to his held and shouMere and died in the hospital law to-night. Ho was a married man residing afc Onga Onga, Hawke's Bay. Tilly's condition is "not considered SEricus. The driver applied the brakes, but it was too late to avert an accident. Seven Natives were travelling in a motor car from Opunake to Ohakeno yesterday and when opposite the pa at Oeo the car by some unexplained reason capsized, but landed again on its wheels. A Native named Waka was killed, and two others, a man and a woman, were**S*£fgs and sent to tne hospital.
