It was arranged at a meeting of the Reception Committee on Saturday, before the news came through, that on Sunday, June 6,_ tho General should attend a service a* First Church for the consecration of the colors presented by His Majesty to the Ist, 2nd, and 3rd Battalions of tho Otatro Infantry Regiment on active service, and that the civic reception, in which the R.S.A. will take a prominent part, should be held the following evening. The committee will moot later this week to redraft arrangements in the light of the new situation.
