O.E.F.TJ. The ordinary meeting of the Otago Rugby Football Union was held in the secretary's office On Monday evening. Dr Thompson, Messrs H. Harris. Brodie, Miscall, 'and Fache were appointed delegates to the New Zealand Rugby Union. A letter was received from the Canterbury Association stating that June 3 was unsuitable for Canterbury to play a match in Dunedin. The secretary reported that"arrangements had been made to play two teams from the H.M.S. Renown, a senior and a junior team, the match to be played on Saturday May lo at Culling Park. Arrangements had been mado to accomodate the two teams and seating accomodation and special cars had been arranged.—A sub-committee was set up for the purpose of entertaining the visitors during their stay. The secretary reported that Mr Statham, M.P., had been written to asking if it could be arranged xo have the Renown teams transported free of charge from Lyttelton to Dunedin, and a telegram had been received from the Prime Minister stating that the request had been granted.—Resolved that Mr Statham be written to thanking him for his efforts. Zingari-Richmond journeyed to Mussel Bay oil Saturday, and defeated Port by four unconverted tries (12 points) to nil.
