Highland Fling (in costume, bov or girl under 15).—'Miss B. King, tho only Dunedin competitor, was not placed. Sailor'a Hornpipe (in costume, boy or girl under 15). Mias B. King (Dunedin) again competed unsuccessfully. Piano Duet topen class, ladiee or gents, own selection).—iliss A. Giiligan and Mrs J. Trengrove (Dunedin) were placed third with 77 marks, 11 marks behind the winners. Misses F. Matches and M. Cartwright (Oamaru) competed unsuccessfully. Recitation ('Tho Bobolink's Sons -y. — Final: Miss B. Todd (Dunedin), 80 points, 1; Miss E. Alexander (New Brighton). 78, 2; Miss R. Aslin (Dunedin), 76, 3. Contralto Solo (own selection). —The recalls were Misses M. Raine (Dunedin), M. Jones (Hokitika), and M. Allan (Oamaru). Soprano Solo.—The four recalls included Miss V. Brook (Dunedin).
