Yesterday afternoon the Otago Harbor Hoard received two reports ae to the t stranding and the salving of Dredge 222 I —one from the harbor master and the 1 engineer, the other from the sailingl master. = ; , jH. Taploy (chairman) said the board were to be congratulated on the j fact that the dredge had been got off and put in the dock. This was attributable to the services of their officers and men, who had worked loyally during a trying jT < £j b £ ut hours. Only two small hole., had been made in the dredge, and the, cost of repairs would not cost more tl.an a few hundred pounds ! Air E.
