FIRES
Early this afternoon the City Fire Brigade were called to Gamma street, Roslyn. where fire had occurred in some hush. The flames were quickly suppressed, no.damage being done. Last- night a five-roomed house in District road, Ravensbourne, owned bv Mr C. E. George, and occupied bv Mr Reid was completely destroyed by "fire. It is understood the building it. insured but particulars are not yet available.
