BRITAIN IS RECOVERING. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. Australian and- N.Z. Cable Association. NEW YORK, April 5. The rate of exchange on Loudon is now 4dol 0£ cents to the pound sterling. [The mint par value of the sovereign is 4.867d01. In the past few months the rate of exchange went against Britain to considerably over the extent of a dollar in the pound. Curtailment by Britain of 1 American imports and her export of gold shipments to America are rectifying this. It is interesting to note the sterling exchange rate in January last-:
