DETERMINED SUICIDE. A man named William Honrv Bowden. eraployed as barman at the Star'and Garter Hotel. Nelson, committed suicide veeterday afternoon. Ho first attempted to hang himself, and then cut his throat. SHUNTER KILLED. O'Connor, a railway shunter, was accidentally jammed between two trucfc in the Timaru station yard yesterday, and a thigh was badlv crushed. He was removed to the hospital, wher« he <Ued a few hours later. WATERSIDES DROWNED. While engaged coaling the liner Mamari at Wellington last evening, a waterside worker named Philip Lambert fell from the staging into the harbor and was drowned.
