Applications for loans to the amount of £2,770 and for 45 shares were received by the trustees of tho Money Club at this week's meeting. The price of 30£ d per lb, which was obtained by Messrs Waters, Ritchie, and Co., at their hide sale yesterday, for one hide, is said to be an Australasian record. Tho weight of the hide was 931b, and the value was thus £ll 16s 4d.
