Tlie Canterbury ram and (ewe fair con* eluded yesterday, 'when stud rams were offered. Border Leicesters - sold very patchily, but an imported ram realised 145gns. _ English Leicesters met with !i very satisfactory reception, the best prices being 85gns and Romneya wera not in great demand. The top price waa 56gns. Lincolns were dead. Southdowna sold moderately, and merinos were touched by only one buyer. Sbropshires were neglected, but a few CorriedaJes sold well. The range of prices was:—Corriedales, lOgns to lOOgns; Shropshires, lOgns to 12gns; Border Leicesters, B|gns to 145gns; Romneya, 7jgns to 56gns; Southdowns, ?2gns to lOgns; English Leicesters, 7gnß to 85gns; Lincolns, 6gns to Bgns; merinos, 20gns to 77ggns.
