ST. CLAIR BEACH.
TO THE KMTOB. your Thursday evening's issue I drew attention to the way in which this boach was being ruined. Now see what has happened smoe Thursday. A scrub fence which was erected by the authorities for some reason or other has been w-asljed away. Nbwj the most serious part of all is that so much sand has been carried away by the seas that the track over the top of the eandhills in one part has fallen into the sea. If the residents of the " Flat" do not wake up and take immediate action, they will later be very sorry for themselves.—l am, etc.j E. L. Macasset. March 27.
