The annual meeting .of the Trinity Methodist Church choir was held on Thursday evening, the president (the Rev. M. A. Rugby Pratt) occupying the chair. The report disclosed a good year's work. Tribute was borne by the chairman to the value of the service rendered in connection with public worship. The financial statement showed a credit on current account of £79 £s. and an amount of £224 15s in hand towards the.fund for enlarging the organ. Appreciation was expressed of the services rendered by the choirmaster (Mr S. Lawn) and the organist (Miss K. Hartley), as well as of the work of the officers of the choir and the members of committee. The following officers were elected :—President, Rev. Rugby Pratt: vice-presidents, Messrs W. H. Duke and Ferens; secretary, Mr West; treasurer, Mr J. P. Lane; librarians, Messrs Blackwood and Mason; committee—Mrs Dey, Misses West, Miller, Neile, Messrs Greenwood and Taylor. Refreshments were dispensed by the ladies.
