CORRUPT ADMINISTRATION CHARGE. DARW’N, December 17. The Commission of Inquiry have commenced hearing eviriWice. on the changes against. Judge Bevan, Mr Carey, and Dr Gilruth that they axe all interested in a mine at Daley River, of which the lease was granted' by Dr Gilruth, and that land at Daley River was demanded for Judge Bevan, and Dr Gilruth, who were already its real owners. It was alleged that they shook the confide,re of the people of the Northern Territory in the administration to such an extent as to cause the recent trouble. Dr Gilruth and Mr Carey are also charged with being prepared ,-to give improper consideration to the firm of Testers to enable them to sell the meat works to the Government.
