CHANGE AT EVERYBODY’S
The quality of the pictures of the new programme screened to-day at Everybody’s well maintained the reputation of this picture house. The chief item was ‘ Todd of the Times,’ starring the well-known charaqter-&ctor, Frank Keenan. The narrative of the film deals with an old newspaper man who has plenty of ambition but no Initiative, and who is_ unmercifully henpecked by his wife. The manner in which he becomes managing editor of his paper and manager of Ms own home provides scope for some absorbing scenes. The programme also contains the second instalment of ‘ The Lightning Raider,’ in which Pearl WMte heads a strong cast. ■ This is a highly exciting picture in which sensational events closely follow one another and lead to a dramatic conclusion. Interesting events in various countries are dealt with in ‘Ganmont Graphic.’ To-night the election results will be screened as thev come to’hand.
