Dargaville.—The first aerial mail service was successfully inaugurated to-day, when a seaplane piloted by Mr Walsli and engineered by Mr Bolt arrived here shortly before noon, having accomplished the journey from Auckland in one hour arid forty minutes. The seaplane wag •welcomed by th« Hon. J. B, Coates, who took oves the mails and complimented the aviators.
