CAVERSHAM SCHOOL CHOIR

A delightful concert was given in the Caversham School on Saturday evening by the school choir and pupils in connection with the break-up ceremony. The building was packed to the doors, and every item was enthusiastically received. At the conclusion of tho entertainment Mr W. H. Lvons (chairman of the School Committee) thanked the choir and other performers on behalf of the audience for the very efficient programme provided, and cheers were calleo. for Mr A. H. Robinson, choir conductor, and Miss Ruby Hudson, A.T.C.L., accompanist. The following was tho programme: —Carols by the choir—'Hark, the Herald Angels Sing,' '0 Come, All Yo faithful,' 'What Do the Angels Sing?' ' The First Nowell'; hymn, 'Peace, Perfect Peace-' (soloist, Miss Bervl Cooper); choruses bv the choir—- ' Forward Gaily,' "Polly Wolly Doodle,* ' Radoo ' (by request), and "' Wang-a-Lang'; carol, 'We Three Kings of Orient.' Misses Mary Eraser, J. Ritchie, and Phyllis Anderson: carol, 'Good King Wencestae,' Masters James Manor and Raymond Rapor; carol, 'The Night is Stealing,' Miss L. Williamson: Christinas song, 'Christmas Comes,' girls; 'Household Advice,' senior boys; pong, ' Widdicome Fair,' intermediate boys; solos—- ' Violets' (Miss Gladys Crossan).
