THE ROMANCE OF TARZAN

■ Those who witnessed the thrilling scenes in the picture ' Tarzan of the Alps,' which was shown, some time ago, have further pleasure in store for themselves by witnessing the sequel, ' The Romance of Tarzan,' now being shown at the Queen's and King Edward Theatres. Those who did not sea the first picture will have equal pleasure, for a portion of the first reel oi ' The Romance of Tarza' is used to review ' TaTzan of the Alps,' glimpsing the most striking incidents in the former story. Tarzan, the son of Lord and Lady Greyßtoke, who has been brought up in the jungle with only the wild animals as companions, is finally discovered by the searching party in which are Jane Porter and the false heir to the Greystoke millions, Clayton. It is proven, through finger prints, that Tarzan is the real son of the Greystokes, and tho party prepare to sail for England. They are attacked by the native blacks, however, and it is all that Tarzan can do to rescue his new-found friends. He succeeds in getting them all to the boat safely, and then they sail away without him because of the perfidy of Clayton, who claims that he saw Tarzan killed. But Tarzan is not to be cheated of the woman he loves. He swims to sea and boards a tramp schooner and. finally, after many voyages, lands in San Francisco. Tarzan's adventures in society and the attempts of his enemies to kidnap the girl he loves provide numerous exciting situations. The romance ends with the virtuous parties winning their just rewards.
