STAND FOR PROHIBITION. The following telegram from Christchurch arrived to-day. It was sent by Mr Frank Mikiav, ALA., Rector of the Waitaki Boys' High School : " Unique Prohibition demonstration "here last evening", wholly conduoted "by Medical Profession and entnusi- " astically received by huge audienpo. " Doctors hero practically unanimous for " Prohibition." At this meeting the chair was taken bv Dr G. M. L. L-cater. The principal speakers were Dr A. B. O'Brien*and l?r P. Stanley Foster, supported by the following Medical gentlemen :- Drs W. Irving, A. C. Sandston, A. J. Orchard, H. T. Acland, J. J. Brownlee, T. L. Cooke, 0. Chilton, J- F. Duncan, C. T.
