The Supremo Council axe discussing the situation in the Baltic Provinces created by the German General Von Der Goltz, who, with his army of ICO.OOO men, has refused, to withdraw. General Gough at the end of July handed to Von Der Goltz Marshal Foch's third ultimatum, ordering total evacuation en tho part of the Germans by the end of August, and the abandonment of all material to the Allies. General Cough's visit exasperated Von Der Goltz, who got into a violent temper. General Gough. was impassive, and repeated the demand. Von Der Goltz finally accepted the - agreement, but not. the least clause of it • has yet been fulfilled, while his army con- : iinws to grow in size. ENTENTE DIPLOMACY. PARIS, September 22. (Received September 23, at 10.25 a.m.) It is stated in Peace Conference- circles that tho Baltic countries have agreed not to make- a separate peace with the Bolsheviks without the consent of the Entente. DENI KIN'S DRIVE. ; NORTHWARDS TOWARDS MOSCOW. LONDON. September 22. (Received September 23, at 11.25 a.m.) Tho Bolsheviks admit the abandonment of Kursk (north - of the Ukraine, nearly 300 miles south of Moscow, and 350 mik-s north of the Sea of Azov). Tho Bolsheviks also report that Admiral Kolchak has informed the Allies th.it he has relinquished the- title of Chief Enter in favor of Denikin.
