WARM CLOTHING FOR CHILDREN
SALVATION ARMY APPEAL. Captain M'Kcnzio announces that he is in urgent need of woollen or Hanne! garments for children between the ages of two and 10 years, either for boys or girls. ll© asks 100 women to make two garments each. This will plat 3 the possibility of helping wit lin the reach of ail, and tho captain ifi confident that the people of Dunedin will, not fail him in this matter. There aire many sad eases of need in Dunedin at present, especially as regards warm clothing; for, living conditions being so dear, it leaves very Jitt.la for clothing when rent, food, and lighting have to be. provided. Those who are able to help are urged to do so as quickly a-a possible. Tho captain desires it to be made known that ho is anxious for clothes that aro ready for tho children to wear, as he visits these people in their own home.3, and thus knows those who are. most deserving, and lis i?. anxious to bring help at once.
