TO EIGHT THE TRUSTS. At the annual dinner last night to delegates to the South Island Dairy Association's Conference the Hon. W. 1). S. MacDonald, Minister of Agriculture, said that those who were opposed tp control erf prices might soon learn that it would 1 be necessary. He had information firom England that if we were going to fight the meat trusts with Great Britain some standins agreement would be required for the fixing of selling prices in London ; and then the trusts might be beaten on their own ground.
