A WOMAN'S DEATH
liie Coroner (Mr 11. Y. Widdowsoa, S.M.) continued the inquest to-day on the body of Florence May Oven*, who w<is found dead at her home in Eoshn.
hi llass said that debased suw him about the sth of May last. 6he was slightly depressed owing, as she said, to the baby not getting on well, and the wiii afraid .die. would not be, able <o rear it. Witness thought tliat perhaps i'm: was having to much work to do, and arranged that her mother-in-law should taka the babv for the purpose of giving her a lie saw her at tho end of last month, when aha was slightly improved, but still somewhat depressed. The husband said ho would stay at home and look after her. He was surprised to hear that she had taken her life. He saw no reason why she should worry or become depressed. She told him she had no cause to worry. She had a .good husband and a nice home. £he must have •had a sudden fit of depression. The Coroner returned a verdict that the cause of death was asphyxiation by hanging, deceased having hung herself when in a deeply depressed state of mind.
