THE SHOW OF THE SEASON
(By Our Special.) Crowds are still Hocking to see the magnificent display of prime meat now being exhibited at Barton and Trengrove's, Manse street. These popular butchers claim that the present display is one of the largest and most beautiful ever seen in New Zealand. This view is supported by judges of stock from other centres who are at present in Dunedin. AH the varieties of the trade are shown with # best effects, and the display in the main shop of a huge bullock beautifully decorated, together with the fine _ and comprehensive display of lamb, is claiming special attention. The effigy of the Kaiser in the pork shop is proving a source of much merriment, and the popular decision is "To be." Messrs Barton and Trengrove have decided to again illuminate their premises this evening, and residents of the City as well as visitors should make a point of seeing the display to.™ themg&lves.—[AdvtJ
