Out Allies Theatre, Port Chalmers, has an excellent attraction for to-night, when Bessie Barrisoale will be seen in ‘ The Cast-off,’ a powerful photo-play which shows how a man played fast and loose with the love, of an innocent girl and how -she avenged -herself in the end. At the dinner table she made the dramatic announcement that shattered his dream of even conquering her. It is a- story with a tense appeal.
