TAXI-DRIVERS, DISPUTE
[Pia Unites Pkess A,twcx«iok.] OHRISTOHUROH, May 2. Before the Conciliation Council to-day, in the taxi drivers’ dispute a settlement was arrived at. Wages were fixed at £3 10s, an increase of 12a 6d on the present rate. The hours remain as at present—--60 for a short week and 70 lor a long week, or 10 hoars a day. Overtime was fixed »t Is 6d anhoicr,instead of Is 2d in the present award.
