KINDERGARTEN ASSOCIATION

The monthly meeting of the committee of the Dunedin Free Kindergarten Association was held yesterday afternoon. There were present—'Mrs Gilkison (in the chair), Lady Allen, Mesdamea Isaacs, Brickell, Hancock, Hutchison, Morrell, Ross, Misses Joachim, Ulrich, and the secretary. Miss Cowia reported that Mr Davy had made some strong carts for the children at Yaralla. Miss Goldsmith reported that the Oaversham children had had a liberal harvest festival, the produce being afterwards sent to the Glendining Home. She reported that they would miss Mr Frazer from the district,, as ho had always been very kind in doing all their carting for them. The annual report was read. It was decided to hold the annual meeting on the 16th if the Council Chambers are available. It was decided to advertise for an assistant teacher. The treasurer acknowledges with thanks subscriptions amounting to £l9 2s 6cl.
